During that time I experienced something very weird, an extraordinary amount of free time. After a few months, I started feeling a lot happier. It's hard to explain unless you give it up which I highly recommend. A few other things I started to notice we're an overwhelming sense of joy in doing little things. Sounds weird? I believe this is due to the dopamine detox you experience after giving social media up. Beyond the increase in productivity there was also a big boost in my social attitude. I had a much easier time maintaining eye contact with people as well as enjoying conversation much more. Social Media is very damaging to the brain, this I am fully convinced.
