Images circulated online on Thursday evening showed dramatic scenes of two women - one woman on the ground, another kneeling- with their hands tied on the back at a covid prevention and control checkpoint. Another video showed the two women surrounded by a group of male covid staff in blue protective suits and guard uniforms, one of the two women furiously accused one staff for discrimination against people from Hubei province – referring to a protest initialled by Hubei migrant workers due to allegedly being treated differently in mandatory mass testing and subjected to massive online trolling after the protest.
