This makes a great demonstration piece for those who teach photography or those who just want to better understand the movement involved with a camera's iris. A fairly simple print, assembly is a bit of a challenge. It all comes down to ensuring the pins are glued into the leaf flat. To ensure better overall movement, file or lightly sand each leaf. Place them in the holder against the outside edge and work backwards. Then gently lift the leaves to insert the last one. place the support ring and glue the covers together.
