There is a real culture and community behind startups at U.C. Berkeley. Just an hour and a half north of Silicon Valley, Berkeley is a cultural hub for creators and founders to dip their feet into the often unexplored. Alex Masmej travelled to America from France to create his vision for more accessible platforms for creators and personalities to raise funds. He tells me his story from France to the Bay Area, and points me towards one of his first users of the platform "The Breakout App,": Lucas Cho Lucas is a first year student at U.C. Berkeley who is also In the early stages of his own startup, called "My Life." He told me about his journey to Berkeley from New York, as well as his involvement with Breakout and Alex Masmej.
