However, with the scoring loops and the timing, the pieces of the puzzle were all put together and what I got is a masterpiece on a somewhat rare combo. For a month between the first day it ran on this route and before the swap was implemented, I tried so hard to get a {6} Express Train ride to Manhattan on this model but a lot of times my luck was just sour. However, it wasn’t sour on this day as the timing was absolutely perfect and I was able to get a beautiful midday roundtrip on the R62 (6) Train in the Reverse Peak direction between Brooklyn Bridge and Pelham Bay Park. This ride was a lot of fun despite a bit of flagging near Parkchester. Even though there is only one set of these at the moment running on the (6), it is pretty darn satisfying to catch it when you get lucky. When the (1) Train temporarily had R62 cars, there were two sets of trains that ran. I personally wish that the R62 and the R62A cars could roam around freely between the (1) (3) and (6) Lines, but the resources just aren’t there for it. However, to lighten up the spirit, I hope you guys enjoy this cool catch of the R62 (6) Train as we take a journey with it through Manhattan and The Bronx.
