AMF Alcort MiniFish Sailboat setup

The setup of the AMF Alcort Division MiniFish Sailboat. This is a great intro sailboat to learn the basics of sailing. It is 11 feet 11 inches long, and light enough for 2 people to easily carry it, or hoist it up on top of the car rack for transport to the lake. Setup it 5 minutes or less. It sails in the lightest of winds and can be a handful at 15 mph winds, especially is gusty and changing winds. Goes over on its side easily in higher winds if you are not on top of sail and rudder control. A one person sailboat or 2 people if you want to be cozy with you boat mate, but you both should be on the smaller frame and weight size. Unfortunately this sailboat is no longer made but some parts and setup is very similar to the much more popular and larger Sunfish Sailboat. Seaweedmonster says “Go Sail”!
