Expect to reset 50+ times ( I reset at least 100 times). I almost quit this challenge because of this. You'll see that I'll hit the PS4 button since Zell was killed by Raijin but proceeded regardless. Then RNG gods responded. 2. Raijin Only: 1)Have a full HP with Squall/ Zell and Rinoa with one hit HP before entering the battle. 2) Have Rinoa cast Invincible Moon or Zell's 11+ sec duel (Heel Drop + Booya + Meteor Strike) to kill Raijin. 3) The soldiers can die with one angelo cannon. 4) If Any of your party dies, RESET. 3. Fujin/Raijin: 1) You must start the offense since if they do, one of your characters or all will die. RESET. 2) If you start the offense: Squall Renzokuken Fujin/Zell duel (Heel Drop + Booya + Meteor Strike) Fujin/ Rinoa , ideally invincible moon. 3) If Invincible Moon did not show up, ideally Zell should not die but Squall can. As you can see, RNG gods blessed this specific battle as I kept getting Invincible Moon and managed to kill Raijin with weak Renzokuken and Angelo Canon. 4) If Invincible Moon show up and everyone's alive, consider it a victory and spam (Heel Drop + Booya + Meteor Strike) Why do you have to play an NJNL run? 1. If you have completed FF8 multiple times and starts to complain about how easy the game is while you spent 50 hours grinding on disc 1 even before the Dollet mission started.... Then give this run a shot. 2. You’re an over-achiever (or a masochist)
