Many Shades of Autumn in Srinagar ! I had been dreaming, thinking and hoping to travel to Kashmir in every season. And while all the different seasons in Kashmir bring their own charm, the autumn comes with a very distinct flavor. When the leaves start turning from green to a golden hue, it marks the onset of a period where the whole Valley is draped in the carpet of red, orange, and gold. University of Kashmir campus is a well-known fall attraction. Naseem Bagh,jiska literal meaning hai “Garden of Morning Breeze,” is the most mesmerizing area of the university, especially in the autumn. One of the most tranquil places, Nothing can match the beauty of this picture-perfect garden with its hundreds of Chinar trees. With the majestic Zaberwan Hills in the backdrop and pristine lakes and beautiful gardens dotting its landscape, Srinagar is the gateway to the paradise called Kashmir. But now it was time to explore the lanes and streets of downtown, through a thoughtfully curated Downtown Legacy Tour.
