How Many Israelis Speak English? Mother Tongue Stats From CBS Survey 2021

As an adopted home to Jewish immigrants from all over the world, Israel is a linguistic kaleidoscope of sorts. Hundreds of thousands of Israelis speak languages other than Hebrew as their mother tongue. But how many speak English as that level compared to other languages such as Russian, French, Spanish, and Amharic? Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) includes mother tongue language in an annual sociological survey (sample size: 9,200).
