Let's walk through the assembly of a square in a square in a square economy foundation paper pieced block. I will go over each step from the beginning. I will describe how to precut all your fabric, glue baste the first piece, use the Add a Quarter Ruler to fold and trim as you add each subsequent piece of fabric, stitch, press, trim the finished block and even remove the foundation paper pieces from the back of the block. I like to think of FPP as color by number. You go in order as numbered on the back of each foundation paper. You add whatever fabric you like as you go. The FPP process really allows for consistency between blocks and fantastic accuracy. You can find so many FPP patterns ranging from absolute beginner to advanced, but the process is essentially the same. Visit the link in my bio for a link to this particular block template. And as always feel free to comment or reach out to me if you have any questions. #quilting #sewing #fpp #foundationpaperpiecing #addaquarter #economyblock #learntoquilt #learntofpp #fppbasics
