Tour of Hoverspeed hovercraft Princess Anne

Nearly 21yrs after her arrival at the Hovercraft Museum at HMS Daedalus, Lee on Solent, A2B via Sea spent the day aboard to see how the former Hoverspeed craft is baring up. The volunteers at the museum have done a magnificent job maintaining her as a static attraction, repainting her exterior in her former Seaspeed livery and transforming her vehicle deck into an undercover exhibition hall. Princess Anne used to ply the Dover (UK) to Calais (France) and Boulogne (France) routes until her withdrawal in October 2000.
