TrainController Gold 9 How to build Extended Accessories. In this video I will show you how/demonstration to build extended accessories on my Fallen Log Railway. The extended accessories are a very powerful tool. An Extended Accessory (EA) is a TC object which provides a means of controlling a real device comprising a set of components. The device, for example, could be a crane, a complicated signal, or an engine throttle on a switchboard. Components can be controlled using internal triggers, or using switches, pushbuttons, contact indicators, or speed sliders which can be clicked or dragged within TC, or operated by something real. The components can be controlled using normal DCC features used by other accessory types in TC: switching between the two states of a turnout decoder, turning a single contact of a decoder on or off, or speed, direction and function commands of a locomotive decoder. Indicator controls with two or more states provide feedback to the user via triggers. Creating and using an Extended Accessory is a two-stage process: first a template for the EA must be created, and then instances of the particular template can be added to the switchboard. Think of a template as something like "Left-Hand Turnout" in the Tools menu or the Local Tool Bar, which you use to create instances of left-hand turnouts in the track plan on the switchboard. ******************************************************************** Subscribe for more: / @modelrailroadtechniques Share this video with a friend: • TrainController Gold 9 How to build Extend... ******************************************************************* Let’s connect: Website: www.modelrailroadtechniques.com Facebook – http:/mfacebook.com//modelrailroadtechniques Email: -- fallenlograilway@gmail.com Pinterest:- https://www.pinterest.com.au/modelrai...
