At delivery one area that was a problem for me on my brand new Tuono was the shifter "toe peg." It was a problem doing upshifts with my size 11 motorcycle boots. The problem comes from two causes in my case. #1, the downward angle from the foot peg to the shifter peg is very steep which means that the angle your foot must take from the ankle forward is uncomfortable and that you must almost take your foot off the rest to angel it over and under the shifter to change a gear upwards. #2, The distance from the foot peg to the shifter lever is quite short. There is almost not enough room for me to get my foot under the shift peg between the two and change a gear upward. In this VLOG I find A partial solution. The shifter peg has an eccentric mounting that you can vary to increase or decrease the distance between the foot rest and shifter. It does not give one much change, about 1.5CM at most, but I found it does help. So watch as I use the eccentric to adjust my shifter out to the maximum using the stock parts. And also note that as delivered my machine had the adjustment set to the minimum on the gear lever side and the maximum on the brake lever side.....not sure if there is a factory specification that is used with every machine that is assembled? In any case I hope this helps fellow Tuono riders, or anyone who likes a bit of amateur garage work!
