For more information:    • Introduction to Universal Peace Federation...   The Universal Peace Federation is a worldwide NGO with General Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. The Universal Peace Federation (UPF) is a global alliance of religious, academic, political and civic leaders, and organisations joined together to promote peace in which all people live together in harmony, cooperation and co-prosperity. UPF is guided by a vision of humanity as one global family under God, called to live in accordance with core, universal principles. All people are believed to have equal value and are loved by God, whether or not they believe in God themselves. UPF works with a global network of Ambassadors for Peace who are individuals whose lives exemplify the ideal of living for the sake of others, and who dedicate themselves to promoting universal moral values, strong family life, inter-religious cooperation, international harmony, renewal of the United Nations, responsible mass media, and the establishment of a global culture of peace. Dr. David Hanna and David Fraser-Harris presented a one-day seminar on the vision of Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and his wife, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon when they inaugurated UPF in September 2005. During the day the Chair of the UPF UK Trustees, Keith Best, and Dr. Michael Balcomb, the President of the FFWPU for Europe and the Middle East, addressed the audience as well. The audience included those in the room, with a big contingent from Birmingham, and those joining us from further away in the UK or other nations via Zoom, Facebook and Youtube. The explanation of the Founder's Vision for the Universal Peace Federation encompasses both the principles by which the UPF operates and the activities that it has done, is currently involved in and its future goals. We have tried to bring these elements into the day's presentations. The Universal Peace Federation's vision of humanity as one family loved by God, while simple, has powerful implications for transformation to a peaceful world.
