The Fondation Beyeler, one of the world’s best modern art museums, is located in an idyllic setting in Berower Park in Riehen on the outskirts of Basel, close to the borders of Germany and France. The award-winning museum building designed by architect Renzo Piano houses the Beyeler Collection, made up of around 300 Post-Impressionist, classical modern and contemporary paintings, sculptures, and drawings, as well as ethnographic art from Africa, Oceania, and Alaska.
