Fleetwood Mac's Albatross on solo, classical guitar. A unique arrangement by Ian Watt of Peter Green's iconic instrumental work. The arrangement is available from Sheet Music Direct: https://www.sheetmusicdirect.com/en-U... I made this arrangement of a popular song for classical guitar at the suggestion of a friend, who wanted to know if he could play songs that people will recognise on classical guitar! He specifically mentioned Albatross, so I decided to accept the challenge! In the arrangement, I have tried to faithfully reproduce all the guitar parts, including the passages played by slide guitar. There are at least 4 separate guitars in the original Fleetwood Mac recording, + bass and drums, and sections with 3 being played together. I also wanted to somehow translate Mick Fleetwood's beautiful cymbal work - I hope you like my solution! The 'classical' guitar is a versatile instrument, and I hope this arrangement shows it need not be bound to specific genres. I hope this shows that it is possible to play rock music on classical guitar, pop music on classical guitar, blues music on classical guitar etc!
