This car represents summer and fun! It’s white so it keeps your drinks cool and the top is electric and opens up to let the summer wind in. It has the big 225 slant six so it has plenty of power but with more than decent fuel economy (it can drive 10km on a liter). The automatic transmission is a push button which gets the attention of many people - Mopar fans that come up to you to check if it’s a push button and others that are searching for the lever and are baffled by Chrysler’s ingenuity of the time. This car is a road trip beggar and road trips we did make. This video shows one of the biggest we did: 4000 kilometers from The Netherlands to Power Big Meet and a tour through southern Sweden on our way back. Because we take car of her we trusted she would make it and she did. We take care of her and swapped a lot of parts for new parts to keep her on the road. Regular maintenance and checks for parts that naturally wear out are done. She got new coolant, oil, ignition parts, timing chain, belts, wiring upgrades (relay controlled lights, direct wire from alternator to battery), switches, relays, fuel, oil and air filter, rebuilt carburetor, transistor controlled voltage regulator for the gauges (more accurate)… et cetera.
