Whether you know him personally or through the internet, we have all been touched at some point by the inspirational Mikey Oliveri - an extraordinary guy who doesn't let any physical limitations keep him from living and experiencing life to the fullest. Mikey was born with the genetic disease Muscular Dystrophy and, in the last 15 years, has developed a slew of very painful stomach issues that have been getting progressively worse. Mikey has always been able to smile through the pain, no matter what, until recently. The pain in his stomach is now worse than ever and has led to an inability to eat, causing rapid weight loss. At 6'1", he's a meager 75 lbs and dropping fast. It's getting more difficult for Mikey to smile through the pain and fear - and more difficult to watch him try. We want to help get him to the MAYO clinic in Minnesota. There, a team of specialized doctors will work together to figure out how his illnesses affect each other and can be treated to restore health and balance to his body so he can keep living his incredible life. We want to do everything possible to help him to get to that clinic as soon as possible. We need all the help he can get and any help is beneficial - even if it's just a dollar.
