🚊 Héros, Uccle (2026) — One of Brussels’ Most Underrated Connection Hubs Right in the heart of Uccle, the Héros junction acts as a surprisingly busy mobility node where neighborhood life, tram lines, and constant traffic all meet. The area links smoothly (when the video was recorded - line 97 not included) with the nearby Globe (tram 4 and 92), Marlow (only tram 92) and Wagon (only line 4) stop and the railway bridge, creating a natural funnel for cars, buses, and trams moving between Fort‑Jaco, Stalle, and central Brussels. On the public transport side, Héros is served by two major STIB tram lines: Tram 4 – Gare du Nord ↔ Stalle (P), which is a prémetro line Tram 92 – Schaerbeek Gare ↔ Fort‑Jaco, which is a normal tram line, bypassing the N-S corridor of Nord - Centrale - Midi - Albert And the surrounding stops bring in several bus lines, including: 🚌 Bus Lines Line 37 — Albert ↔ Homborch (operated mostly by Van Hool New A330, and in lesser circulation by Volvo 7900 Hybrid) Links Forest, Uccle, and Linkebeek with frequent stops near the Héros axis. Line 38 — Gare Centrale ↔ Héros (In circulation are mostly Volvo 7900 Hybrid and also Mercedes-Benz Citaro C2) Direct connection from central Brussels straight into Uccle’s Héros district. Line 41 — Transvaal ↔ Héros (In circulation are almost exclusively Volvo 7900 Hybrid) A cross‑city line feeding into Héros from the east. Line 43 — Observatoire ↔ Van Haelen (In circulation are almost exclusively Mercedes-Benz Citaro C2) Runs through Uccle’s residential areas and intersects the Héros/Wagon zone. Line 75 — Uccle Calevoet ↔ Bon Air (operated mostly by Van Hool New A330, and in rare occasions by Volvo 7900 Hybrid) Passes under the railway bridge area and connects with Wagon. Line 74 (deviation) — Van Haelen ↔ Uccle‑Stalle (Victor Gambier extra stop) ↔ Clemence Everard Passes Wagon, Victor Allard, and the Stalle corridor, feeding directly into the Héros traffic funnel (In circulation are almost exclusively Mercedes-Benz Citaro C2) About the Railway Bridge; All trains running on Line 124 cross that bridge. In this video a RER Brussels S1 (Antwerp - Bruxelles - Nivelles) calling at Stalle and Calevoet on its way to Nivelles, while an IC service between Charleroi and Antwerp via Brussels simply drives through without any stop straight to Bruxelles-Midi.
