When Anti-Fascism Starts to Look… Fascist

Last week I posted a #WalkAway video after watching people in my left-leaning circles mock the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The dogpile that followed was revealing—callous jokes, vitriol, cancellation. What you would expect from the “side of compassion,” right? In this episode I reflect on that reaction and ask whether something deeper is at work. Are parts of leftist culture normalizing fascistic tactics: propaganda, dehumanization, crowd enforcement of the party line, and a casual acceptance of political violence? If the right did these things, we would call it fascism. So why the double standard? What happens when anti-fascism becomes fascistic? Have we started to become what we hate?
