Decoll Collagen Dural Matrix is a product designed to repair dural mater defects. It is manufactured from ultra-pure Type One collagen. It is supplied in sponge form and sterilised using Gamma irradiation The collagen Dural matrix acts as a barrier between the Dura and surrounding tissues, preventing peridural fibrous adhesions. It does not require suturing and is applied / placed directly. During the healing period of the tissue, the implanted matrix maintains its position and is fully absorbed into the structure. Once in place, it accelerates the formation of new arachnoid membrane and pia mater.
