Boxing Gems - Retired Pro Teaches Amateur Boxer some Tricks of The Trade

This video is showing a shadow boxing drill that we do at my gym called "Inside Out." This is a non contact drill that gives you some of the benefits from sparring without taking any damage. One parter is leading and throwing punches from the center of the ring while the other partner circles on the outside and counters the inside puncher when he finishes his combo. When the inside parter punches the outside partner should speed up their circle to make them miss and gain an angle on the inside partner before countering. After stepping from the center and throwing punches the inside partner wants to step back to center and square up his opponent before they start punching. Inside opponent is working on seeing and reacting to punches with their head movement. Enjoy, and let me know your thoughts.
