Arctic Club Northern Lights Dome Room

The crowning glory of the historic Arctic Club Hotel's interior is the Northern Lights Dome Room. This is one of the most beautiful venues in Seattle. The 55 foot square room is capped off with a glamorous leaded glass ceiling made by Tiffany and Company. The peak of the Dome Room is 27 feet from the floor. The small dome at the top of the room features lighting effects reminiscent of the real Northern Lights. The beauty of the ceiling is highlighted by gilded, carved wood that serves as the borders and support pieces for the glass panels. One of my favorite treats in the room is a small decorative clock flanked by two walruses. The Dome Room has been used for many different functions over its history including weddings, wedding receptions, and banquets.
