We start this abandoned mine explore by shuffling down a long inclined shaft to find the lower levels of this mine. We find some major workings with an interesting system for transferring ore from the lower skip car to the mine cars used to connect to the inclined shaft hoist and the upper skip that went to the surface. After coming back up to the outside we find a cool little round mill nearby. We continue to hike higher up the mountain and come across a huge road wall that is about 20 feet high in places and almost a half mile long. Wow! We find a spring and a few more drifts on our hike.
