Erling Haaland had given Man City the lead in the first half, but Albion roared back thanks to second-half goals from James Milner and Brajan Gruda to claim their first Premier League win of the 2025/26 season in dramatic fashion. Manchester City dominated large parts of the first half, with Haaland missing several chances before finally putting Pep Guardiola’s team ahead on his 100th Premier League appearance. The Cityzens looked comfortable going into half-time, but Brighton showed resilience and determination after the break, with the home fans at the Amex in full voice.
