Passing Activities: Mastering Object Control and Arm Extension! Hello Parents! Ready to improve your child’s posture and coordination at the same time? Today, we are exploring Passing Activities! While passing is a fundamental Object Control skill, it also plays a huge role in Developmental Foundation. Many passing movements require Extension of the arms and trunk, which helps strengthen the upper back muscles and improves reach. This combination of coordination and extension is essential for healthy posture and powerful movement! Watch my little daughter practicing her reach and extension while passing objects with precision! 👆🏻 ✨ INSPIRATION & MANDATORY CREDIT All activity ideas were learned from the fantastic channel: ➡️ PT for Tots Channel: / @ptfortots ➡️ Channel Handle: @ptfortots Huge thanks to Jill Huuskes, a Pediatric Physical Therapist, for the valuable guidance! 🙏🏻💐 📌 DISCLAIMER The classification and grouping of these activities are done solely by me for organizational purposes and ease of viewing. My child performed all activities according to the original sequence and order provided by the PT for Tots channel. This categorization is simply my way of grouping the completed movements. I am just a mom, not a Pediatric Physical Therapist or an expert in motor development. This categorization may contain errors from a professional standpoint. Always consult with a qualified medical or therapy professional before starting new activities.
