On September 9th, I went to the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum to the 2023 Founders Day event. I planned on riding the Missionary Ridge Local with 630 pulling the train. I also planned on going to the TVRM Night Photoshoot at East Chattanooga. During the ride on the Missionary Ridge Local, most of the videos are muted since there were a lot of people on board and it was a little noisy. After the ride, I stayed at Grand Junction to watch 630 and 4501 pull the rest of the Missionary Ridge Local trains that were running that day. There were also a few BNSF and NS freight trains passing by Grand Junction in the background. I also saw Southern 6914 and 610 at the display yard at Grand Junction. After a few hours, 4501 shoved its train into the yard. Not to long after, 4501 and 630 were connected together to pull a Missionary Ridge Local train at the same time. I decided to catch them at the Missionary Ridge Tunnel and the South Chickamauga Creek. After several minutes, Southern 5000 pulled the Dinner train while 4501 and 630 pulled the Evening Ridge Runner from Grand Junction to East Chattanooga. 4501 then took the Evening Ridge Runner train back to Grand Junction before coming back to East Chattanooga for the Night Photoshoot. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to catch the Evening Ridge Runner. Finally, at the photoshoot, 4501, 630 and 8669 were lined up at a few places around East Chattanooga. This trip to the TVRM was definitely an amazing experience.
