👵👴💚Living Life With Dignity and Purpose 💚 Did you know there are nearly 9.5 million senior citizens in the Philippines? This October, as we celebrate Elderly Filipino Week and Elderly Filipino Month (in Baguio City), the Baguio Chronicle joins the city in honoring our elders through the Elderly Health Fair held at the Baguio Convention Center last October 1-7. 🎉 From free health checks 🩺, dental services, 💉 legal aid, 💊 vitamin samples, to special recognitions for partners and volunteers, the event celebrated the invaluable role our senior citizens play in our community, reminding us that healthy aging means living with dignity, joy, and purpose. 🌼 Hear from Dr. Geohna Perez-Gison of BGHMC, Atty. Michelle Ruth Chungalao, and Atty. Maria Concepcion Santiago of the IBP talk about how they helped in celebrating the lives of senior citizens.
