Alfa Brera Rear Spring Replacement

My Alfa Brera rear springs had boken at the ends and I have replaced them. Removing the springs is, in theory, not a big job but it is complicated by crusty fasteners that are siezed in place and the fact that you need to remove interior trim to access the top nut on each strut. You will need some form of spring compressor to remove the springs from the shock absorbers and sufficient tools to enable removal of any siezed fasteners. I did this the same way as Neil at Italia Autos and I recommend you watch his video on Brera/159 rear spring replacement. I also recommend that you clean up the bush and the bottom bolt for the shock absorber and reassemble with plenty of copper grease to aid reassembly and any future removal
