You’ll need 10 Spare Parts to buy the required item from the Stolen Royal Vendorbot. Spare Parts drop from mobs around Mechagon. Optional: How to Unlock Mechagon (New Players) This section is not required to complete the quest. It’s a simple guide to permanently unlock Mechagon. Alliance Start A Dying World by talking to the Earthen Guardian in Boralus. You can take the portal directly; no need to finish the BfA intro. If the quest isn’t available, go to Silithus and talk to Magni Bronzebeard. Use Zidormi to phase to BfA Silithus if needed. Continue the questline until you receive the Heart of Azeroth. Complete Send the Fleet in Boralus to reach Nazjatar, and finish the intro until world quests unlock. Uniting Kul Tiras (three reputations to Friendly) may be required. Complete The Legend of Mechagon in Boralus. Mechagon is now permanently unlocked. Horde Start A Dying World by talking to the Earthen Guardian in Dazar’alor. No BfA intro required. If missing, go to Silithus and speak with Magni Bronzebeard. Use Zidormi to phase if necessary. Continue until you receive the Heart of Azeroth. Complete Send the Fleet in Zul’Dazar to reach Nazjatar, and finish the intro to unlock world quests. Uniting Zandalar (three reputations to Friendly) may be required. Complete The Legend of Mechagon in Zul’Dazar. Mechagon is now permanently unlocked.
