Sonic Forces - Super Sonic shouldn't be paid DLC!

Super Sonic finally arrived in Sonic Forces about a week ago! And brought some controversy with it. While Super Sonic is currently a free download on digital marketplaces on Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo E-Shop and Steam, on January 23rd, it will start costing 2$ or your regional equivalent, marking the first time in 25 years, where Super Sonic is actively gated behind a paywall. Even more interestingly though, some people are defending this and when I ask them why they are defending it, they just brush me off as a hater or a "know-it-all" due to their lack of arguments. Like literally, mega, stop trying to attack me and ignore my responses... I havent seen you bring up one argument in defence of this... I have also been notified of some rumors that Super Sonic will be free even after 23rd, but seeing Mega and Gamerguy not citing a source, despite me asking multiple times and just ignoring me, I'm willing to believe it's another shenanigans, since there is nothing on official channels of SEGA and/or Sonic the Hedgehog, suggesting this is even a thing. I will update this video accordingly, if such a thing exists.
