This project was more of a challenge in designing my own 3D printed parts to fit the way I envision building with them. I leverage the strengths of traditional scratch building with the precision and detail of 3D printing to make these industrial worn out and rusted silos. I pass by structures like this almost every other day in my local area, and I’ve wanted to build a set to go on my Warhammer 40k table for months now. Although I’m not the best painter, I feel like this project pushed me over a new milestone in learning to paint better terrain and miniatures.
