My uncle has my grandfather’s JC Higgins .30-06, a rifle built in the 1950s. Over time, the butt stock plate broke, and due to the gun’s age, finding a replacement was nearly impossible. So, he asked me to try and 3D print a new one! In this video, I take the original broken butt plate, carefully recreate it in CAD, and 3D print a replacement to bring this classic rifle back to life.
