In response, India’s Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a nationwide alert, directing states and union territories to strengthen security around Iranian, American, and Israeli embassies, sensitive installations, and key public locations. Authorities have also been asked to closely monitor provocative speeches, protests, and potential threats from extremist groups such as the Islamic State and Al-Qaeda.
