A great night! A high hood, the TAG heritage and the return of the Connersville Local too!

I spent Sunday in Glendale, Ohio. I wasn`t planning on going, but my stepdaughter and my wife went out together and I wasn`t just going to sit at home, so... there I was, trackside! The first train I caught was the newly reinstated to this line Connersville Local. CSX put it back on the Toledo Sub for reasons unknown, but I`m glad it`s back with its usual compliment of vintage EMD power! It was a busy night a!!nd the last 2 trains in this video are of special interest. Th second to last train has an old "high hood" locomotive in the consist. I suspect it is being transferred to another location to be used for switching or possibly going to a shortline? I don`t know. The last train was filmed on the NS New Castle District about 2 miles East of Glendale. This is the Southbound directional running track that you have seen the trains go around the curve in Hamilton on. They end up going through Sharonville on their way to Cincinnati, Ohio. I had heard the NS TAG heritage was on this train so myself and others made a quick trip over there and got it before darkness set in. It sure is a good looking locomotive. No doubt about it!
