ASMR Eating Sounds: Chocolate Nice Cream (No Talking)

Today I'm bringing back a channel favourite: nice cream! This version is chocolate-themed with cocoa powder mixed into the banana blend, crunchy chocolate granola chunks and melted dark chocolate drizzled over the top. While this looks like a bowl of ice cream and tastes like a bowl of ice cream it is in fact just a bowl of frozen, blended banana — also known as ‘nice cream’. When blended, the frozen banana turns into a creamy soft serve-like texture — just like ice cream! How this magic works, I’m not entirely sure. (I believe it has something to do with the starches in the fruit?) The important thing to note is that it will only work with frozen banana and you will need a high-speed, high-powered blender (I have a Vitamix) to make it. Blenders with less speed and less power will not be able to cope with the force needed to break down the frozen banana. (Seriously, do not try this with anything but a high-speed, high-powered blender or you will break the blender!). Also, riper (spotty) bananas work better for this as they’ll be sweeter and produce a more creamy consistency. To make nice cream simply add a touch of liquid (either water or plant milk) to cover the bottom of your blender then add some frozen banana and any other flavours/ingredients you wish to include. Blend until a soft serve-like consistency is achieved. You can add more banana/liquid if required. Just keep an eye on how it blends and make adjustments to get the right consistency. You can flavour your nice cream however you wish.
