June officially marks Lipoedema Awareness Week, but at The Karri Clinic, we are holding Lipoedema Awareness Month, sharing content every day in June about this still frequently misdiagnosed condition. Here, Mr Vasu Karri, Plastic Surgeon at The Karri Clinic, talks about why it's so important to raise awareness of lipoedema, noting that patients he sees have often had their quality of life hugely affected by the disease, and often lived with it for decades before a proper diagnosis.
