Day 74 & 75 of travelling overland from the UK to Australia. We leave Lake Sevan not really knowing how we’re going to get to Yerevan until our apartment host steps in and helps us with everything, right down to where to stand, what to pay, and which bus to get. After a short ride, we arrive in Yerevan. Busy but calm. Loud but peaceful. One of those cities that just feels good straight away. We check in, grab some Armenian kebabs for lunch, explore a little, and end the day sharing wine and stories with a couple we met on the bus days earlier. A really cool travel moment that reminds you why you do this. Day 75 brings harder news. After breakfast, we explain why we’ll have to fly over the Azerbaijan border something we really didn’t want to do, but with borders closed and insurance limiting our options, there was no real alternative. While Charlotte stays back, I head out for a winter run through the gorge (apparently running in shorts isn’t very common here…), before we meet up again, wander the bazaar, talk through what comes next, and finish the day with some incredible local food. This journey isn’t always smooth but it’s still moving forward. Thank you for watching !!!!
