The latest vid in the '26040 lives again' series we bring you '37042 lives again'. Finally after about 15 years since it last ran English Electric engined (12CSVT) 37042 ran today for x2 1 minute runs. So far so good. It's been my utmost pleasure & privilege to bring you this & thanks go out to all the support & encouragement received. A special thanks to the Lumley family & especially Jo Lumley for filming the inside footage, pics & commentary. 'Team work makes the dream work' as they say. Of course there is still a lot of work to do not least to get it running on all 12 & smoothly ! They said it couldn't be done & wouldn't be done, especially with zero facilities other than what can fit in my small van. Dream big & always believe in yourself. 37042 will return.
