It was a gorgeous day so we headed out to Dartmoor, Spitchwick had been recommended to me by a friend so we headed there via Ashburton on the way for lunch. These were places we have never been which we always find amazing after living in Devon for so many years. They did not disappoint! Ashburton was such a pretty town full of great little shops and cafes and an amazing church and lots of history to find out about, and Spitchwick was gorgeous, even though we didn’t get to see too much of it. Our trip ended with a Dartmoor traffic jam caused by lots of ponies on the road.
