And check out our other sites: Our Website http://culinarycrossing.com Our Facebook Page / culinarycrossings Here's our recipe for Mustikkapiirakka (Blueberry Pie): Ingredients Crust - ⅔ cup Butter ¾ cup Sugar 1 Egg 2 cups Flour 1tsp Baking powder 1tsp nutmeg Filling - Blueberries Greek yogurt Sugar Egg vanilla Preparation For the crust, cream together the butter and sugar, once combined add in the egg and mix until its fully incorporated. Sift in the flour, baking powder, and nutmeg. Use some butter to grease the pie dish, place the dough in the dish and press the dough in until its dispersed evenly, use a sheet of wax or parchment paper to help press the dough into the dish. Bring the sides up enough to make a crust. Evenly disperse the blueberries in the bottom of the dish. Pre heat the oven to 390F In a mixing bowl combine the sugar, sour cream, eggs, vanilla, and Greek yogurt. Then pour the mixture over the blueberries. Place the dish in the oven for 30min. Then turn the oven off and let the pie continue cooking for about 40-50 minuits as the oven cools, this allows the pie to firm up a bit more. When the pie comes out of the oven you can serve immediately or refrigerate until you’re ready for dessert. You can add extra blueberries on top as a topper. Then enjoy this sweet treat.
