Today we spend a little time with the brand new Mocean Kayaks Scout 12. This is the first production kayak from the brand new thermoform kayak company Mocean Kayaks and Canoes. They are based in Burlington WA, the former home of Eddyline Kayaks. While there is no official connection between the two brands its obvious that one would not exist without the other. Thermoforming kayaks has a long history in the PNW and it was the robust sleek designs from Eddyline that inspired Michael and Nancy Carey to build their own thermoform kayaks.
