Un regard sur l'avenir / Researching the Future is a video series showcasing research underway at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and airing on Canal Savoir, Quebec’s cable “learning channel.” This episode takes the viewer to the new Quartier de l’innovation, an initiative of McGill University and ETS (École de technologie supérieur). Hear about the urban development objectives for this “innovation neighborhood;” visit business incubators and see how the FabLab gives entrepreneurs access to high-tech prototype-making technologies; learn about the École d’innovation citoyenne, which brings university and CEGEP students together to work on projects of interest to the community, and; meet a McGill grad who is giving new life to an old historic church in the QI. This episode is hosted by Mariouche Gagné of Harricana by Mariouche.
