Powder Day Tree Lines on The Korua Dart 164

Join me for a fun powder day morning, whilst I test ride the Korua Shapes Dart in the164cm length. I've ridden the Dart before, but only in smaller sizes! This was my first time taking this board out in the bigger length, as I wanted to test out its flotational capabilities in deeper snow. The thing I noticed about this board almost instantly, was just how much stiffer it was than my Gentemstick. Korua Shapes pride themselves in making firmer category powder boards, that hold up at speed when carving; thus making them more versatile than a pure powder board that is traditionally softer. This board definitely lives up to its name, as it is super nimble and can "dart" through tight areas very quickly. The stiffer mini swallow tail gives the board a tonne of kick out of the turn, and really helps you rebound your energy into the next. I've stated before, that the Dart is my favourite Korua Shapes board, as its the most complimentary to my riding style. Its a wicked board for both carving and powder, and its tight rocket like shape, makes it great for quick turns in trees. I rode it with some Union Force bindings, on my K2 Ender boots. Although the 164 was perhaps a bit long for this day, I was still able to make some tight turns through my favourite tree lines, and really get a sense for the longer size.
