Arguably the most scenic ride out so far in Andalusia. The Tres Embalses lay below the famous Caminito del Rey surrounded by woodland. Following the recent storms this winter, the water levels in the reservoirs are at their highest levels in 20 years, forcing the controlled release of water in huge plumes. Unfortunately we ride out to this beautiful area on the first warm weekend of the year and have to cope with horrendous traffic that splits our group. Although we don’t complete our ride as planned, I hope you enjoy this stunning scenery.
