The excursion starts in Livno, from where we drive jeeps to the foot of Mount Cincar. At the foot of the mountain is the huge Kruzi plateau. During the drive, you will enjoy untouched and peaceful nature. Your eyes will be lost in the endless expanse in front of you and for a moment you will think you are on another planet. Kruuzi Plateau is home to wild horses. On the northern side of the plateau is the Cincar mountain, to the east is the Borova glava pass and the Šuičko polje, to the west is the Glamočko polje, and to the south is the Liivanjsko polje. The search can last several hours, depending on the location of the wild horses and the weather conditions. Horses played a very important role, both on almost the entire planet and in the area of ​​Liivn. They were mostly used for transport, work in the field or other activities that were at the service of man. With the application of mechanization in the second half of the last century, horses slowly began to lose their purpose and became a burden to their owners. The owners release the horses that gather on the "Kruuzi" plateau, and for the first time in history they become completely free. With their beauty, they cause sighs, enthusiasm and admiration. The motives of various photos are the main reason why Liivnoo has become one of the most sought-after vacation destinations. After the war, the number of wild horses was reduced to a minimum, but in the past 7-8 years, the total number has doubled. It is important to say that enough time has passed for the change of generations, therefore the horses living in Kruzimaa today are completely wild. When meeting horses, you should keep in mind that you are in the vicinity of wild animals. You must not feed them because you will attract a large number of horses to you. A frequent scene that you can witness are the fights of males, which mostly happen for food or females. The open pastures and high mountain peaks are ideal for their life. There is plenty of grazing, except in winter when they go down to the lower regions. It should be noted that it is always windy in that area and most often storms blow away the snow, so grazing can still take place. Since there was no organized human care for them for almost half a century, they traveled tens of kilometers every day for food and water. Despite the unfavorable weather conditions, numerous animals from the nearby forests survived thanks to rich pastures.
