The first of our DrumRoll roundups featuring some of the more interesting custom printed bass drum head projects we're working on at DrumART HQ for the week ending September 6, 2019. Featured bands and artists include Styx/Todd Sucherman, Hoodie Allen, Salty Dawgs, The United States 4th Infantry Division Band, SA, Pulse, Hung Up, Darel Madrid, Fuzzy Bunny, Heavytone and others. Oh, and according to Todd Sucherman's Facebook reveal of his new Pearl Masterworks kit, it includes "the Studio Recipe which is 4 ply Maple and 2 inner ply Gum with 60 degree bearing edges. A new burst was stained over Quilted Cameroon Black Limba with rose gold hardware on all the drums. 'TS' Styx font logo in rose gold leaf on each drum was tastefully done as certain light and angles pull them out. All the tension rods and inner screws and washers were done in rose gold as well and the inner Gum has a similar stain over the wood as the finish."
