The Sydney Metro West mega railway project will include an underground station at Westmead, delivering more travel benefits to greater Western Sydney. After extensive community and industry consultation, Sydney Metro West will now include: • A new underground metro station at Westmead; • A new underground metro station linked to an existing suburban station on the T1 Northern Line, either at Concord West or North Strathfield, allowing faster connections for customers from the Central Coast and Sydney’s north to Parramatta and Sydney CBD; • Options for new intermediate metro stations at Camellia/Rydalmere, North Burwood/Five Dock, Kings Bay, and Pyrmont - subject to further community and industry consultation. • These are in addition to already announced stations at Parramatta, Sydney Olympic Park, The Bays Precinct, and Sydney CBD.
