Female driver w/ multiple felony warrants flees Arkansas State Police into Mississippi (APRIL FOOLS)

Trooper's Report: On April 1, 2025, at approximately 3:37 P.M., I was traveling east on U.S. Highway 82 in Chicot County, proceeding towards the Mississippi River Bridge. I observed a blue Chevrolet Trailblazer with a Mississippi license plate of WRJ108 traveling west. I was able to identify the vehicle as being involved in a pursuit with the Lake Village Police Department from a week prior. While passing the vehicle, I observed a white female matching the description of the registered owner, Ashley Swindle Davis, as the driver. Ms. Davis has multiple felony warrants from multiple states, as confirmed through ACIC. I allowed the vehicle to pass and move out of sight before turning around, due to the possibility of another pursuit. I caught up to the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop just east of the U.S. Highway 65 junction on U.S. Highway 82. The vehicle initially pulled over. I remained at my vehicle door and instructed the driver to turn off the vehicle. I identified the driver as Ashley Davis through the side windows and side mirrors. Within approximately one minute, Ms. Davis began to flee after being instructed to turn off the vehicle. Her vehicle reentered the roadway, made a U-turn, and traveled west toward the Mississippi River Bridge. Ms. Davis fled towards the bridge at speeds exceeding 100 mph, aggressively blocking my attempts to perform a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI) maneuver. The fastest speed recorded on my dash camera was 108 mph. She showed no regard for public safety and other motorists on the roadway as she fled, due to her speed and frequent abrupt lane changes. After approximately 5 miles, I terminated the pursuit upon reaching the Mississippi River Bridge. A warrant for felony fleeing and other related charges will be sought for Ms. Davis.
