Drum Major leads Huntly Pipe Band playing Dawning of the Day before 2024 Tomintoul Highland Games

Huntly & District Pipe Band, led by Drum Major Derek Dean and Pipe Major Ian Stuart, playing as they march onto Tomintoul Green. This was on the morning of Saturday 20th July 2024, before the band marched to the 2024 Tomintoul Highland Games, and were entertaining crowds in the village. The band marched on playing Dawning of the Day and then The Gardens of Skye. The Tomintoul and Strathavon Highland Games have been held for over 175 years and are always on the 3rd Saturday in July. Tomintoul is a lovely village in the Moray council area of Scotland, high up in the beautiful Cairngorms National Park. #tomintoul #tomintoulhighlandgames #marchingband #bagpipes #pipesanddrums
